Influence State Policy

Progress we've made on H4130: Thank you all for your help in getting H4130 on the House calendar! Let's make history and pass this bill with a final advocacy push by July 30th.

What's slowing down H4130: The chairs of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing added an amendment to H4130 that includes the words "mandatory licensure." MACHW and CHW supporters do not support this language and Rep Fox filed an amendment to change the word "licensure" to "certification." H4130 will not be voted on in the House until there is agreement among the majority of legislators for which word to adopt.

How you can help: Ask a state representative to be added to our supporter list for H4130 by July 23rd!
